The World Wide Story Web - Website Design + Markup
Client work - 2013 - 1 month
A small website I designed over a summer for one of my University lecturers. The webpage was designed to be a kind of hub for a national initiative known as The World Wide Story Web where users could be directed to the right site or information.
I'm pretty proud of this site as it was my first foray into web design after having taught myself HTML and CSS in my spare time. Although basic, it functions well and is standards compliant.
I also helped design the initiatives identity and overall look and feel, going for a paired back aesthetic with intense splashes of colour. The typography lends it a slightly more literary feel and pairs well with the structured display typeface.
Thanks for taking a look!
You can view the live site HERE. Don't forget to check out the header and footer links! They have super-cool underline animations ;).
